I am using a Hardy kde/gnome/xfce system I use as a server. I tried something, and broke a lot of things. I want to restore the computer to about 3:00 this afternoon. Can this be done?
I prefer Command line tools, so those would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you all in for your help,
Thanks for listening,

You're a little sparse on details, what doesn't work?

Hi,
I tried to set up my primary server up as a gateway. It was a bad idea. What I wan't to do is push my web trafic on my LAN through my server and to the outside world. I want it to act as a proxy with Dansgardian, and filter my trafic. I am also running an ldap server, mail server, and a dhcp server on my server. How can I do this.
Thanks for listening,
Alex,
P.S.:
I fixed my earlier issue, though I still would like to know how I can return my system to a previous configuration similar to "Windows' System Restore".
Thanks for listening,
Alex,

Did you make backups? If not good luck...

Hi,
Well, I didn't, that is something I am going to do now that I have my server back on track, but the question is now, how can I set things up properly?
Thanks for listening,
