Hello.
It is installed and configured Firestarter on Ubuntu 8.04. Reviewed all options and appointed them as documented parameters, but I can not receive e-mail when I am in the local network. When I am outside a local network, then I can receive mail. What I forgot to set the configuration Firestarter?

Firestarter is old, try Gufw http://gufw.tuxfamily.org
Anyway, I think that might not be a problem of firestarter, at least it should not be.
Can you be more explicit, with examples?

What do you mean by writing that he is old? Overall, it works quite well. I do not know what exactly it differs from the program, which You recommend.
Well, I wonder just how do you know whether we certainly did not Firestarter wine.
Example? I do not mind. I am in the office and connected to a local network - I can not receive e-mail. I am out of office, and I receive e-mails, for example, using the GSM network.

Firestarter isn't supported anymore or developed - the last release was in 2005. So you might run into issues as things have changed since then.
