Hi,

I have Xerox Phaser 3122 laser printer. Everything worked ok until few days ago when i urgently needed to print something.
Now i'm suffering from Ubuntu 8.10 and it seems that problems came with one of the unstable upgrades.
So, the problem was that the printer driver cuts top of the page. I mean it didn't print something in the top moving picture out of the margins.
The only urgent solution i found (which works in 99% cases) -- i booted Windows.

So, the problem is in the driver. I removed the printer from the gnome printing applet and what i got is printing negatives (plus the old problem). Test page feature doesn't work -- foomatic crashes.

I went through the adding a printer dialog, it automatically found my Xerox printer on the LPT port and found the driver.

I saw in teh intarweb that my printer should also work with Samsung gdi drivers. Well, the same results.

Will really appreciate any help.

Thanks,
-Mike
