Delete my own post on a thread

Sorry,I really did look around for an answer to this but didn't find it.

How do I delete one of my own posts in a thread? I edited a post and it seems i did something wrong because the original is still there and my new edited post is also there. I would like to delete the original so only the edited one is in the thread. Thank you. P.S. Where should I have found this information? I will mark that thread and delete this one once I know where I should read and learn this kind of info. Thank you for your patience.:oops:

You can't delete your own posts - only the staff can do that. The same applies to threads. You can - however - mark your thread as solved from "Thread Tools" at the top of the page :)

You can use the Report button requesting the Staff to remove that post.
A staff member may look and if possible remove that post.
