EDIT: Found the answer, if I did a little more searching, I would have found the tutorial on the subject...
I don't blame anyone if they don't want to help, but I have put myself in a predicament. A buddy of mine set up a wireless network with one of those new Belkin N routers and because he's that type of paranoid person, asked me to see if I could get into it (because I use Linux...sigh). I told him that I would find a way to do it, or not. I found this CLI program called "aircrack-ng" in the repositories and was wondering if it is any good. I read the manual and the --help portion that came with it, but I have to say, I am not a network person and don't really have much knowledge with how this thing is supposed to work.
So, can I get some help? Is this not something I should be asking? Is there another network analyzer that works better? or is it too long of a discussion for the forums?...either way, don't leave me hangin too long, I have a deadline.
Thanx,
