So I downloaded the iso images then burned them to a disk, checked the download with winmd5sum, which said it matched, when I boot from the cd I get as far as the menu then I get an error code BB428082 in the top left of the screen. A message box also pops up a I/O error that says "error reading boot cd" Has this happended to anyone else? Any ideas are appreciated.

-Thanks

Did you check the CD for defects from the boot menu? Every once in a while you'll get a bad disk. I check it before every install. That's the first step I think you should take. If you've already done that, try another disk drive (ie: external usb cd drive)

I am not able to choose the option to check the cd's integrity, it bombs out before I can do it. I have already checked to make sure the hash matched up. I am going to try another cd and see what happens.

Re-burn the iso on a slow speed and on a quality disc. I know it works great with a Dell D600 because im on one now!
