Hi guys,
Very new to Ubuntu.. Just getting all my programs sorted.
I just realized that back in XP I used Nero's label editor so often!
Just wondering if you guys could suggest a good program for making dvd/cd covers. Thanks.

Me too. I've been using Nero 6 Cover Designer for my CD covers. It prints to Memorex labels.
All I need is something to create text cover with title and subtitle, and back cover with list of tracks and title + subtitle on both edges.
I just found this: http://www.aczoom.com/tools/cdinsert/ I'm not sure the Example3 layout will work exactly for the standard Memorex labels. Maybe you could insert a blank line between the cover and the back insert to match the Memorex label sheet.

I'm using Hardy... I searched with synaptic and found koverartist. I created my first DVD cover in about 15 minutes. Awesome software.
sudo apt-get install koverartist

I have found Glabels to be a fantastic CD/DVD/label maker/business card/editor. It has all major manufacturers templates that you find at your local office supply store. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
