[SOLVED] caps lock key switched around?

hello, my caps lock key seems to have been switched so when it is on and lit up I type in lower case, but when it is off I type in upper case.
Is there any reason for this, and more importantly how to fix it?

that is unusual, my caps key works fine under any OS.
Perhaps its a glitch of some kind

Yeah, it has never happened to me before even on 7.10 when I had it installed.

The only thing I could think of is have you used any keyboard configuration programs and could have changed this yourself. I have never seen this one ever but I am quite sure that it would be possible.

Hmm, I restarted a couple of times (the first time my keyboard/touchpad didn't respond) and now it seems to be all fine. :S
