Is there any way to do this? I've spent the last two hours Googling and trying various crap, to no avail. Help!

I've tried thata s well, but it seems that it needs some additional libraries that aren't available for Hardy.

I haven't been able to find any .deb packages for these libraries, or Sonata 1.5 itself.

It seems that at this point compiling everything required from source is the only way. :/

Keep an eye on www.getdeb.net as new programs usually appear there when the .deb's have been created for Ubuntu...

I know that. But nobody has added any Sonata packages for Hardy yet. Most likely because of the missing libraries.

It starts to look like they will never be available in getdeb, as they have usually appeared very quickly after new Sonata version has been released but now we are already couple of versions behind (the latest being 1.5.2).
