I've a fresh install of hardy-64 and skype. When I test my audio connection using skype's test/echo service, I can hear the audio alright from my speakers. However, my mic doesn't seem to work.

So, then I installed 'skype-oss-static' but still have the same problem. My mic works fine with Windows/Vista. [I tried padsp skype and also did a reboot.]

My audio settings in System->Preference->Sound for 'Audio Conferencing' are currently set to Autodetect and OSS for sound playback and capture respectively.
