I've been through Grand Junction several times. Last time was in 1997. Is the Western Sizzlin' steakhouse still there?

I love Colorado National MOnument. Not a lot of crowds, and totally beautiful!

Don't know about the Western Sizzlin' steakhouse as I just move here from Idaho. Will have to check it out some time as I like a good steak.

My dad is from Grand Junction. Great peaches they have there in the summer. Really good peaches. When i was a kid i we used to make the trip over the divide to by some fresh and my mom would make pies from them.

Jim,

Check out the wine country around Grand Junction and Fruita. Good stuff.

Welcome from the eastern side of the Rockies! I am between Denver and Colorado Springs.

or you could be in monument? I ran into a few people around here who use ubuntu.

I personally hail from the Garden of the Gods area of the Springs.
