I previously had a working iPod Touch on my VMWare Server RC1 under Hardy. Then after upgrading to RC2 it seemed to just stop. The device showed up in WinXP's device manager, but iTunes just wouldn't see it and didn't give any error messages. Then I found this, but had to tweak it a bit

The trick that threw me for a loop and I just had to share with all you wonderfully helpful folk was that the actual "Apple iPod" Device needs it's USB drivers (aka windoez drivers, not apple's) updated (See screen shot).
Viola! Thought you might want to know that moving from RC1 to RC2 needs to include a small note about updating your USB drivers!

PS - Anyone get sound working yet on VMWare Server 2.0 in Hardy yet? HELP!
