smb4k and windows 2008 server

smb4k and windows server 2008. Has anyone got that to work? I can use my Hardy Heron Ubuntu system and connect smb4k to Windows 2003 systems all day long. I can browse the shares in smb4k for my 2008 servers and see the shares, but when I try to connect I get a CIFS error 2 (no such file or directory) error message. 2008 must be doing something with SMB, but I haven't a clue and was wondering if anyone else has figured this out.
