Lets not go making posts simply to increase your bean count.

Posting substantial replies and/or questions, though.

Posting just for the sake of post counts is spam.

We could always go moving posts to non support forums to decreate bean counts. Works both ways :-)

Time :) Here on the forums you can learn something new everyday. Search the Unanswered post and try and help where you can. Oh and the Unanswered post day is tomorrow. :)

No. Because that would be unethical.

unethical? in what way?

unethical? in what way?

First to start with, it will start a thread in which everyone will try to pitch in and as a result it will maintain a top spot in that Support Forum always. Secondly people who have cavad in with lot more questions and support in the forums will not the get the benefit" Also the desire increasing bean count encourages forum members to contribute more and hence they end up in helping more people.
And such a thread would not really be fair to people who support a lot.

If you want the glitz and glamour of increasing beans and follow existing rules, there is another way: Participate in the BUMP Thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=520091) and try to move up in the ladder of highest bumpers (http://ubuntuforums.org/misc.php?do=whoposted&t=520091).

You shouldn't be so worried about bean count anyway.

+1

If you really want to increase it - start helping people as much as you can :)

There is also the Art and Design forum that fewer people help out in. If you have an artistic bend, go there. Or, you could always send a bag of really good coffee to a mod or admin. ;-)

I still haven't received mine....

It's only Admin's that can change post counts anyway

If you read the replies in the thread ,it is not what it is about

I think it is about quality, not quantity.
