I'm downloading something.
The two installations are Linux Source and Linux Binary.

Which one do I download?

you proberly dont want to compile it yourselve so it must be the binary you want.

if the binary is in the form of .deb, you can safetly download and double click on it. RPM and other formats are not supported. You can compare binaries to windows exes

The source is the source code that means you'll have to manually compile the program (which is not what you want if you don't know what you're doing)

What are you trying to download? It might already be in the ubuntu repositories.
