Hello all.

Can anybody tell me what icon set this is? I took the picture from someone's post in the August desktop screenshot thread.

Why don't use ask the person who posted the screenshot? I'm sure he would tell you :)

If that's What's in a name?'s screenshot, I think it's his own that he's been working on. It's called Eikon and should be released soon.

Ask What is in a Name? in the SS thread. I'm sure he'll tell you.

I also like how I know who that was the moment I looked at the shot...

:) Yeah I guess that would be the obvious question. I kind of figured that my question would get lost in the shuffle, as that desktop screenshot thread has about a hundred pages worth of replies. Though I guess I could ask him directly, maybe we can send messages to other members of these forums....

Yeah there's a PM feature on this forum. But it will be seen in the thread more than likely.

okay, yeah I just sent one. Didn't know it would turn up in the thread, ahh well.

I'll tell y'all when I find out what icon set it is, or if it's something the guy is working on for his own use. I've seen these icons in another screenshot, so I'm not so sure.

ah okay. Yeah, that was his screenshot. In his post he mentioned he was using Eikon, and I thought maybe it was an icon set hidden away somewhere.

They look pretty slick, I'll look forward to their release.

It would be great if Ubuntu promoted the artwork created by the Linux community by offering in their releases a handful of quality themes/icon sets that people have worked on. Don't y'all think?

I've been using these for a while now, and they're very good quality. I've noticed one big problem with them at the moment though - the icons for folders in Firefox, as well as "Save" dialogs, simply revert back to the default grey gnome folders. I've tried tweaking it a bit, but have had no luck so far. If this problem is fixed, I'm definitely (with permission from "What is in a name?") going to include them in FutureLooks 3.
