What to do with AssaultCube?

Hey guys having trouble with AssaultCube! i downloaded the Sauerbraten and now i dont know what to do with the assaultcube!?

Yeah i played the cube one it was great fun! But i dont know how to play assault cube because i dont know how to install it or run it? Like i dont know how to launch assault cube.

there is a .deb for assault cube availible at www.getdeb.net

just download the .deb to wherever you want and double click to install it (its that easy)

(if there is more then one .deb for assault cube (like assaultcube-data or assaultcube-server, you should also install those)

(usually you will need the one that says data to be installed first, if there is one)

after installing all the .deb's simply go to Applicaitons-Games-Assault Cube to play the game

If you download the game from the website instead of using the deb, then you just need to untar it and double click the executable file. If it doesn't work, right click the file and click properties and make sure the permissions have it set to be executable. If it still doesn't work, open a terminal, cd to the directory, and type ./ActionCube (or whatever the executable is called) and press enter.
