I am not an expert Ubuntu user, so please try and tell things as you would to a old grandpa :p

Well here is what my problem is: I had installed ubuntu with wubi on my laptop, and I liked it so much that I though, hey, lets do this on my desktop too.

Well, when I started ubuntu install in normal mode it showed up an easybox, or something. I started it in the screen option in case that was the problem. This time I got to see a few of the lines that comes before the easybox thingy.

attempt to access beyond end of device

I am wondering what this is?

I have a
amd dual core 4600+
4 gig of OCZ DDR2 Platinum XTC Dual Ch.
2 Western Digital 500GB S-ATA II in raid 0
2 Sapphire Radeon HD 2600 XT in crossfire
MSI K9A2 CF-F, AMD 790X motherboard

Could it be a raid problem perhaps ?

I have read around and found out that wubi/ubuntu and raid0 is a big no no...

My question is then.

If I hook up an old hard drive I have laying around and install it with wubi, will my windows files on the raid be accessed still? Or will it be like they don't know what is going on across the partitions?
