View Full Version : [ubuntu] f5d7050 v5000 doesnt work with ndiswrapper

i installed ndiswrapper fine and my usb wireless pen is detecting the access point, but when i put my passcode in, the swirly green light comes on in the notification area, but only one does, after about 3 minutes, a box pops up and asks me for my password again so i change the encryption to WEP 64 bit hex (which is correct) and put the passcode in again, and it goes to one green light again, this process repeats infintiely.

please help :)

i am getting rid of ubuntu now because whenever i come here for help, the last 6 times, i have had no replies, so, thanks a lot, bunch of ****.

oh and by the way, i have just installed openSUSE and it is so much better than gay-buntu and also their forum support is much quicker than this shite!
