Did anybody install the official fluendo codecs that are for sale in the ubuntu shop?

I assume they differ from the medibuntu codecs that more or less do the same and are free. But with those I cannot scroll forward and backward or pause windows media streams without breaking it.
Those same streams can do this on a windows machine. Will this problem
most likely be solved with these codecs? To give you an example:

(If not, why on earth would anyone buy them?)

So... no answers.. but there has been more official communication about it. And today I'm reading the possibility to buy these codecs for Ubuntu as if it were a new fact... Did anybody buy them? Can anybody answer question above? Is there any place where I can get technical info on these codecs and their functionality?
