The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Crashes

Wine AppDB rates Oblivion with gold. It installs great, does it run? I installed it, but when i run (tried with multiple graphics configurations) it crashes and closes out immediately. Has anyone else got it to run on Hardy x86 under wine? I've made a few sacrafices going full force ubuntu, however I cannot give up on oblivion! I am not willing to dual-boot, so if you have any suggestions that point toward ANYTHING other than dual-boot, they are very much appreciated.

I've got hardy and it works fine for me, I have this version of wine installed (It has hacks for C&C3 and COD4) I have some DLL's installed but don't know which ones. Appdb is always very good for tips, try posting your terminal output when running wine, to do this

cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion
wine oblivion.exe

I probably have a nocd crack installed as I haven't got a dvd drive in my main machine and iso everything from my laptop.
