I don't know if montage itself can do this, I am assuming I need a script to accomplish this. Here is what I'm trying to do:
I have a couple hundred directories and photos in each directory.
I want to use montage to create thumbnails of thumbnails and a single index jpg of each directory, the file name of the index jpg being the name of the directory. I know how to make that index file(jpg) but not how to rename it and then change directory. It would be nice to be able to just set the script going rather than have to change into each directory and tell montage what to do.
I am not even a newbie when comes to scripting in bash, less of a newbie lol. Any suggestions?
