Songs ripped using linux won't copy to Windows

I have an ubuntu lappy that I ripped a bunch of songs to. I've copied the songs to a flash drive and can access the folders on my linux box just fine.

I take the flash drive to my vista machine and most of the songs I can get to and play just fine. Some I can't even open the folders or copy them to my system...:confused:

Anyone know what I am doing wrong here..

ur deffinitely copying the songs properly? make sure that your not coppying symbolic links or anything, and that you let the songs fully copy...
also, if youre clicking and draging them out of a player, then it might copy links, not songs, if youre doing that try again with nautilus

you might also check the file permissions. many times when you
copy a file it is locked, becomes read only.
