hey, I'm very new to Ubuntu and forums, but I have a problem. For at least a month I've been on a wired connection but my wireless card worked just fine with hardy before. Now I find that network manager is not picking up the wireless networks in the area. It might be that the wireless card is damaged. I tried a hardware test but it didn't tell me anything.

Detecting your network controller(s):

Intel Corporation 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection (rev 03)
Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02)

Which seemed to be correct. How can I find out what's the problem (I can post output and logs if I know what to run)? Thanks in advance
