[SOLVED] converting to divx using mencoder?

hello all i am having problems converting a file to divx. i did this just last night perfectly but fail to do this today. i have not clue what command i actually used and cannot trace it back in terminal. does anyone know how to convert file to divx? i use this currently: mencoder ali9.avi -ovc xvid -oac mp3lame -xvidencopts bitrate=-700000 -o aliconverterdivx.divx
but it doesn;t work:
video: XVID MPEG-4
audio: MPEG-1 layer 3
whereas before i got:
DivX MPEG-4 Version 5
MPEG-1 layer 2
which works out perfectly.. does anyone know how to get this file while using mencoder to convert?

not sure how to convert to divx using acidrip. but xvid works. anyways thanx as i do like this program for other perposes
