Yet another PVR-150 question

I know there are many PVR-150 threads on this forum and I've read many of them, yet non have solved my problem.

Basically all I want is my remote to work with Ubuntu (in Elisa, MythTV or whatever)

I've tried installing CSMonkeyTVRemote and the ivtv to get the PVR card running, but I had no luck.
I really feel that problems like this, is a big part of why so many people use Windows. Plug 'n Pray actually work.

So, is there an easy way to get my remote working???

Have you installed the patched firmware? http://www.blushingpenguin.com/mark/lmilk/haup-ir-blaster.bin

Before this firmware, I couldn't get irw, irsend, or anything to work with this card and remote. Afterwards it all works like a charm.
