Have found forums very helpful and noticed people can thank others for their answers... I just can't work out how to do so. I searched for "thank" but it yielded no answers :-?

The OP has the option of either thanking (and marking it as Solve) the person who had helped you out on your question. You could always see the little gold medal located at the lower right-area of the "typing window". It's always good to thank the person/s and to mark it as "Solve" so as to help others if they're experiencing the same problem as yours.
