View Full Version : [ubuntu] [SOLVED] xorg.conf s-video on nvidia 8400m-gt no longer works

currently when i restart gnome, it stretches my screen as it should (ie the background stretches to include the screen to the right and i can drag windows over there) but there is no actual video out...it took me lots of scrounging to set up this xorg.conf in gutsy but it no longer works in hardy.:confused: Did the driver change or something?...to my knowledge i didnt use anything different...just the same one that showed up in system>administration>hardware drivers...

hopefully you guys can help me out or at least suggest some things to try and change up...i have scoured the net and haven't so far found any major difference between the xorg in gutsy and hardy...

i guess i should mark this tread as solved...i tried to hook the s-video out through another TV set and it worked flawlessly as ubuntu always seems to for me :rolleyes: now to figure out what's wrong with the damn tv :confused:
