Yeah, I'm in Connect i(s) cut! Actually I have the lowest-end DSL available which I should really look at improving now that the discount they offered me when I switched from dial-up to DSL seems to be revoked. I was paying just $9.99 a month for it.

If anyone here is also on Flickr they'd understand the reference. For the rest I'll just say that every group, every forum and every social networking site with admins always has one or two gonzo admins who take their "jobs" a bit too seriously. Brock is an admin of that Flickr Group who seem to take delight in closing and worse, deleting threads based upon his perceptions and prejudices. It happens everywhere.

I'm a little too old for that kind of drama. I'm a little too old to care about it much. I'm here to learn something.

1. I have said something so wrong that they just thought 'what an idiot' and left.

2. I misinterpreted something, so they gave up.

3. My social skills were too appalling.

4. I was being too annoying

5. I posted too may times, so they felt swamped.

1. Oh well. Threads die.

So I have a minor panic if I'm not the last poster, and end up furiously re-reading what I wrote and checking my facts. And usually end up apologising on a technicality. :( Such is life.
