Hi there,
In my attempt to have a perfect dual screen solution with my Macbook C2D 2nd gen, I've had some problems (see http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=768761 ) so I thought that I could have the screens left-right instead of above-below, which implies no Compiz (which I don't really care actually)
But I've found out that the display is much slower and very much more CPU intensive with Compiz disabled, with and without dual screen
!
How comes that my Macbook is slower with no 3D?? Is that normal? Is there a way to fix that?
