I have been testing it all day long on my laptop and it's quite impressive. I have it loaded to my RAM. I'm amazed at the amount of applications that come with Wolvix Hunter. Open Office, Pidgin, Firefox, Audacious, Exaile, various games, XFCE, Fluxbox, and many more applications. I highly recommend this nifty distribution and the iso is only 482 MB. It may just knock over Arch Linux as my main OS.

i tried wolvix about a year ago. it was the ONLY distro to date that didnt recognise my ethernet. it looked really good, but this was before i got wireless. but i tend to shy away from distros that cant even recognise a generic network card. that being said, i would like to check it out again.

Wolvix Cub is also very good.

yeah, it's a great little distro. They are hard at work on 2.0 right now. I'm definitely going to give it a try.

how easy is it to install gnome, kde or enlightenment on it. Is it easy to build or install and upgrade later? How does it compare with say, Vector Linux in terms of speed?

I may try it again after they release v.2. The current one doesn't play nice with my laptop.
