View Full Version : [ubuntu] Java applet not loading to full size

I use firefox 3.0.1 to remotely control several computers via logmein (would use vnc but they don't have static ip's).

When the java applet loads it initially (for a second) tries to load to the correct screen size, then defaults to only showing a small portion of it.

I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling installing it. Here's a screenshot of what I've been getting.

The java website reports that I'm using ing 6 update 6. I don't have iced tea installed. I've followed the installation adv ice on the megathread for multimedia, but no change.

Thanks

Mark

I suffer the same problem, but I can click the Fullscreen button and see it perfectly.

Full screen usually works for me too. I actually reinstalled the os and installed everything fresh again using the advice from the large multimedia thread. So far working well
