I would like to know if anyone managed to fully configure this motherboard (GA-MA78GM-S2H) with ubuntu? Especially the sound over hdmi.

If anyone had please give us the steps he followed.

I'm not familiar with that particular motherboard but it you type 'aplay -l' in a terminal it should list the audio outputs including a HDMI device.
The Multimedia and video forums should have some info. from there on.

I have a question about the Suspend To RAM or known as C3. Is this function supported?

I have read a blog from a guy who is building an htpc with that motherboard.I e-mailed him to tell me some comments about that motherboard.From wat he had told me i an say that everything is working perfectly inthat motherboard.Even suspend and hibernate.The only problem he had was with audio over hdmi but he e-mails me again on the solution to fix it.He also bloged about it.Here is his blog
