my information. have a macbook pro 15' 2.2 ghz intel core 2 duo 120 gb,

so i did a partition with the boot camp. i put on the partitioned disk 21 gb for the ubuntu, so the first thing i did is to install refit, then i burn the live cd with ubuntu 8.04 iso, then i restar my mac so i could install the ubuntu, i choose to intall from the disk, no the trail thing, it install perfectly but there is a lillte prblem, when i tur on my mac the refit ask me to choose what operting system i want t use, i press the linux(ubuntu), and it start to boot but then in the black screen a message appear: no booter drives can be find( or something like that) and the in the next line it says pleas insert the cd and press any key afte yo have inserted.( i have inserted the cd bt nthing seems to happen)
why is that?

i turn up again the mac but this time with the cd on it, in the refit part there is 3 option t choose insted of 2, one is mac hd, linux hd, and linux cd, i use the second one(linux hd) and it stars as if i whant to install again everything but the i runs ubuntu, whats the problem?

does enyone knows? or can help me? does i have to reisntall ubuntu, and how do i do it?

here is a bug in the Hardy installer that only affects Macs. Please read the FAQ and search the forum before asking a question.
