Did you need just a place to store the DB or to host the actual site? Does your current webhost offer mysql? If so it would be better to host locally on the same server as the forum to improve speed.

We could do either, Matthias Ulrichs has the server for Ubuntu-IE.org, I have no idea of the specs.

Yes, that would be great! Could we have a couple of forums? Maybe Social/Support/Testimonials under a Ubuntu Ireland Category? I am just brainstorming as well, tell me what you think.......
