Setup:
Athlon 64 X2 4200+
2 Gig Ram
Geforce 7600 GS + Latest restricted drivers
Hauppage Nova-T 500
Mythtv 8.04 + Latest branch fixes
The blank screens last about 3 seconds, during which audio is also lost, and they can happen at absolutely any time, with no consistency in activity or timing. I've seen them during boot up on the splash screen, during boot up disk check, during live tv playback, during recording playback, during video playback, during browsing, during the frontend, basically anywhere after mythbuntu has started loading.
This problem started happening for me a few months ago and I've seen a couple of posts about this before, with exactly the same symptoms, none of which really received much of an explanation or remedy, so I was hoping by now someone knew what was causing this or at least how to fix it.
