Hi I am a complete newbie. I created an cd fronm an iso and ran it. Shortly after startup I get a screen with Mythbuntu and the progress bar bouncing from side to side. I then get the screen with he progress bar loading something. Then the screen goes blank. Nothing seems to work apart from a restart. I ran a check on the CD and all is OK. I then tried in safe mode, but intead of a blank screen I have a monitir message box saying OUT OF RANGE and then 2 rows of numbers. I guess it is something to do with the graphics card. It is Intel onboard graphics.
I have loaded Mythdora without any problems at all, but would like try Mythbuntu.
Any help greatly appreciated.

sounds like the default resolution for mythbuntu's spash is outside of the display range for your monitor. Do you have a seperate monitor - or know what the max resolution is?
