I have a read a few posts on other people having problems getting flash working properly under mythbuntu, but have not been able to follow them successfully. I have been using my system for about a month and have had very few problems, occasionally all sound would stop and I would have to fiddle with alsa and follow some sound troubleshooting techniques(honestly not knowing completely what I was doing :), and usually I could get it working again.
But now flash is giving me a headache... playing any type of flash video would crash firefox, I following one postings advice and installed flash 9.x and now it seems that I can play the video now, but I cannot hear any sound. The sound works fine if I play video from the myth or from VLC or Amarok, just not from flash
