[SOLVED] I am using iTunes on a Mac Desktop

I have recently added some videos to my iTunes and I deleted the files out of the folder that held the video files. When I opened iTunes up again and clicked on the video (thinking that it wouldnt work) but it played. So the question is how do I remove the videos and other files (music) from the iTunes and have them permently deleted?

Delete them from inside iTunes and choose "Delete File" when it asks you.
