Hi guys,
I posted a thread in the x64 bit section a few weeks ago (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=869722), basically around the fact that i can't get my vostro to boot a 64bit of ubuntu (or any linux for that matter) without turning off ACPI support.
I'd really like to use 64bit ubuntu on my vostro, if only just to support the 4gb of ram it has.
I have upgraded to the latest bios (A07), but still no luck. Just thought someone in here might have some suggestions...
