Hi i have to install a "IP Video 9100A" server on a ubuntu server but the manifacturer didnt make a software for linux at all . And i need to connect the camera via this server and broadcast it on a website ... Can someone tell me what can i install to do that ?

It looks like the camera has a built in web server, so you shouldn't have to install the windows software, you should just be able to access it from your web browser. I was given a noname web cam with builtin web server, I plugged in the network cable, the power cable and the usb cable from the camera and it just plain worked, I haven't even looked at the software on the install disk, the only thing I needed was the username and password that where printed on the sleeve the cd came in.

Ok but here the idiots bought a security camera and an aditional IP server 9100A witch supports up to 4 cameras .
And i search to find some linux/ubuntu softwear witch can do the work . But no success so i ask you how to do it . I meen the manifacturer made softwear .deb but i dont know why it did't install ...
