Go to google and search "RealPlayer Helix Ubuntu 5.10" there is a link to Helix community and they will tell you how to make RealPlayer 10 Binary work.

Thanks for this.
Why not put it in the reps as well? I've got a deb installed from an unofficial Debian rep and thought an official Ubuntu one would be good for others.
Please?

Real Player is in the repos... Just enable multiverse in your sources.list
Well, it is not version 10, but it works well...
See here:

;)
So you will be able to install it via apt-get/Synaptic/Adept :)

You can try the easyubuntu script located here (http://placelibre.ath.cx/keyes/index.php/2005/09/29/44-easy-ubuntu-23), it has been created to bring all multimedia stuff in a fresh ubuntu system (repository,apps,etc...)

Not in Dapper.
Anyone know why not?
It seems odd to be using the old version, especially with the aim of having better multimedia stuff in Dapper and for it to be up to date.
I guess I should bug the MOTU.
