NIC Duplex / Speed Settings

Using ethtool I am able to set the duplex / speed for eth0 which will stay set as long as I do not reboot or logout. How do I set these options permanately so that I don't have to keep setting them every time I login or reboot.

I am using Ubuntu Hardy 8.04
