Have reached the end of my rope with Atheros WiFi. I've read thru every thread on this I can find, and still no wireless. Not wanting to use MADwifi, and having used ndiswrapper on 2 prevous laptops with excellent results, this time is no joy. I've using a new (for me at least) Toshiba Sattalite A205-S5000. Ndiswrapper shows the windows XP driver being used (god why do they make that driver so hard to find!!) I've tried roaming and non roaming modes but no luck. I have of course blacklisted the buildin drivers, but still no joy. What can I do to fix thgis guys?? Thanks in advanced.

I have solved the problem with my wireless by installing WICD, a third party network manager, which replaces the GNOME Network Manager. If you are having problems with wireless, give this one a try. So far so good!
