GeexBox ISO is only 9 MB, so you can download it in 10-20 seconds using broadband. If you run it from CD you dont even have to install it. If you have installed it in your hard drive, you just reinstall it from the new CD.

You cant browse the internet with GeexBox. It is a distro for building a home theater.

You can find more information in the GeexBox wiki:

No, I can not give any details, because you can not browse the net with GeexBox.

I suppose you did install it on a separate partition to make upgrading easier? If not, I suggest you repartition the drive adding a new partition for the fresh install. See the GeexBox Wiki (http://www.geexbox.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) for documentation regarding GeexBox.

Taken from their website.

"The GeeXboX is no more than an awesome standalone media player."

I highly doubt such a highly specialized system is capable of browsing the internet.

It really isn't an Operating system, it's a very advanced media player, nothing more.
