What engine does the Human theme use and how would I install it on Windows? I have friends who use GIMP and Pidgin on Windows and they really want the Human theme, but it doesn't work.

Windowblinds sucks yes, but I'm just talking about GTK+ themes. I've gotten several to work, but not much luck with Human. I probably don't have the right engine installed. And as much as I would like it, not everyone is willing to dump the bugs and insecurities of Windoze for GNU/Linux.

Well there is the murrina version and the clearlooks version.
Aren't those the names of the engines also?

Last time I checked (which was a while ago) it used the ubuntulooks engine, which is modified from the Clearlooks engine ... I think.
If you open the gtkrc file for the theme, you should find a line that defines the engine in use ... something like ...
engine "ubuntulooks"
