Ok, so I have an ATI Radeon xpress 200 and on windows, i ran counter strike source just fine, and other games just fine. However when i ran CS:S with wine/crossover, the screen flashes every 2 seconds

this also happens in linux native games

i think this is due to the proprietary drivers? it says that the ATI accelerated graphics driver is proprietary.

What can i do to correct this? Or is more info needed?

unfortunately, I have had a lot of problems with ATI Radeon card in the past. Some are not even supported in Ubuntu... I would stick with Nvidia
