Hi everybody! I've been working on this for several days now, and haven't figured it out yet, so I'm hoping someone here can help me.
I'm trying to install a program called backstep (http://backstep.sourceforge.net/index.html) because I'm writing a new window manager (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=866390) and it's one of the pieces i need. Anyway, It requires gtk 2.0 to run, which shouldn't be a big deal, because it comes with ubuntu.
I installed pkgconfig so it would be able to find out where gtk lives, but when I run ./configure, it can't find it!
Does anyone know how to fix this, or a way to tell it exactly where it is? Sorry if I didn't provide enough info, just ask and I'll post anything you need. :)
