Setting Up Wireless Network

Im using Hardy Heron and I cant set up my wireless network. When I click to enable the card which is: Broadcom B43 wireless driver, it gives me an error saying:

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Can anyone help me?????

open a terminal (applications --> accessories --> terminal)

type:
sudo dpkg --configure -a

hit enter.
