hi everyone,
I apologise if this has been discussed already but I dont seem to be able to find this specifically or to understand what needs to be done from all the bits and pieces out there.
I need to mount a network drive with Ubuntu. The way this is done here is with a cisco vpn connection with a secure login. ive figured out how to get the vpn conneciton working using vpnc but now I need to mount the drive and I cant find how to do this.
ive installed the smbfs plugin and tried to play around with Places->Connect to server but to no avail.
The way I used to do this for windows is in dos using the "net use" command
which looked like this: net use "drive letter:" \\CCOMPUTER\SHARE . so that is the information that i have and using that I need to get it mounted.
Im new to Linux and trying to plow my way through all of this so would really appreciate any help on how to do this.
thanks
